The Institution
San Martin National High School, a flourishing institution situated in the promising community of Barangay San Martin III. The school yearns for the best education and continuously adhere to the Department of Education’s vision and mission.
The institution has listened to the clamor of the community to offer programs and interventions that will cultivate the talents of its learners and address their needs. So, SMNHS through the collaborative effort of the administration, faculty, and staff introduced programs designed for students with talents and who are considered exemplary. These programs are The Special Program for Journalism (SPJ) and Special Program for Theatre and Arts (SPTA) and Aral sa Bahay Wala nang Tambay as an intervention to SARDOs. The Special Program for Journalism (SPJ) is for budding media practitioners in the future. Students who are inclined to writing and broadcasting are equipped with the skills to make them effective broadcast journalists someday. Special Program for Theatre and Arts (SPTA) is for those who are inclined to acting. In this program they learn the rudiments in stage plays and taught how to project and act in front of an audience and will shine as actors and actresses soon. While Aral sa Bahay Wala nang Tambay as Schools Intervention to Students at risk of dropping out gives access to all kinds of learners. It is made for students who cannot attend regular schooling days due to situations like they have to work to provide for their families, health reasons and different unavoidable circumstances but still yearn for learning, the project will give them access to finish high school by providing modules as learning materials.
The forerunners of such programs are the administration and teachers who are dedicated to their chosen devotion of giving utmost quality education to all kinds of learners. Faculty, staff and stakeholders work hand in hand as they enthusiastically impart imperative learning to students. Thus preparing them for the real world.
San Martin has an environment that supports this kind of learning for it is surrounded by luscious green trees, spacious grounds and a safe community wherein one can contemplate after a tedious task of everyday schooling and dealing with rigorous activities. One will traverse sturdy Acacia trees which have been a living witness to the progress of the area. Mango trees, pliant bamboos, towering coconut trees are sights that are accommodating to everyone.
Students and parents do not worry about the security of the school, it is well supported by the barangays surrounding the area. Barangay police forces were deployed to watch the security of everyone. In addition, the General Parents Teachers Association (GPTA) initiated a project wherein the proceeds were used to purchase Close Circuit Televisions (CCTV) which are installed to strategic places within the school premises.
Indeed, the institution with its accommodating environment, dedicated faculty and staff and supportive stakeholders, will provide the best education and will never cease to provide access to all kinds of Learners - San Martin National High School: Institution of Opportunities for All!

San Martin National High School is a public National High School located at Ilang-Ilang St. Purok 6 Barangay San Martin III, City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. The school has a total land area of Twenty-four thousand three hundred sixty seven (24, 367) square meters and is shared by both San Martin National High School and San Martin BBC Elementary School. The relative distance of the school from Poblacion is 6.8 kilometer and 7 kilometer from the Division Office by jeepney as the mode of transportation. The nearest public elementary school is 0.16 km or 160 m from school through walking while the nearest public secondary school is 1.8 km from the school through jeepney or walking. The Topography of the school is sloping and steeply where SMNHS occupied the lower area looking up San Martin BBC Elementary School. Being in a sloping area, problems occur such as prone to erosion, landslide, and the descending water from elementary school during rainy season, which is the reason for constructing 140 meters drainage canal.
In relations to Learning Environment, the school has 41 in good condition classrooms and 3 classrooms that need repair/rehabilitation with 44.07:1 Learner: Classroom Ratio of 1, 939 Total Enrolment. The Classroom seat quantity is 1,791 with 1.08:1 Learner:seat ratio. The school’s Water Supply/Source is from Local piped water where there are 2 handwashing area. The Functional toilets for male is 4 which is 255:1 in ratio and 4 toilets for female with a ratio of 225.25:1.
